ENERGY SAVING WORKSHOP


Energy saving workshop was conducted by a group of Professors from Southeast Asia University commissioned by the Energy Consumption Efficiency for SME Food Sector at GAF for major staff members on 16 July 2013. The project was initiated by Ministry of Energy in order to help saving energy consumption through all means of measures utilized in the factory.

ENGLISH SUMMER CAMP


English Camp program has also been additionally implemented as a top-up program upon a successful completion of the English Summer Camp program earlier during the past summer vacation. All the 100 plus school children from Pathom 1 to Pathom 6 have been attending the program since June 2012 on every Wednesday in 2 different classes until end of September 2012.

A HAPPY WORKPLACE CAMPAIGN


Grand Asia was evaluated by a team of Ban Pong Public Health officials for "A Happy Workplace" campaign which was deemed a good motivational program for a few selected workplaces in Rachaburi province. A certificate of participation was given by Governor of Rachanburi province. It is urged that signages should be made in other languages including Burmese, Cambodian and Laos. Meanwhile, all toilets and canteen should be regularly well-maintained.

BLOOD DONATION


Blood Donation for patients of Baanpong Hospital by Mobile Unit at the factory every year since 2009 up to the present. This voluntary project has been traditionally implemented in full force by workers who are willing to contribute for society.

LOCAL TEMPLE CLEANING PROGRAM


Local temple cleaning program was also started since 2009 and continuing to expand more comprehensively to cover consulting the abbot as to how to effectively manage funds receiving from donations.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM


English Language enhancement program was initiated early 2012 to prepare our staff and workers for the upcoming AEC'2015. A native English speaking teacher has been tasked with this challenging program on a weekly basis to encourage them to be more legible in practical English conversation and simple reading directions more easily.

FLOODING DISASTER IN THAILAND 2001


Flooding Diaster in Thailand 2011 when our staff and workers turned up in full force to motivate their families and local community in the neighborhood to mobilize donations of rice, dry foodstuffs, water, medicine and clothings and cash donation amounted to over 200,000 Bht to hand out to the flood victims in Uthaithani province.

The Breast-feeding and Children Center was initiated on site risen in reflection of our concern for young mother workers of their maternal care of the newly born babies. The factory-cum-home concept is the supreme goal of the management to provide a pleasant environment for the workers.

During the Fine Food Australia 2013 (9-12 September) at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Center, Grand Asia participated and occupied Booth K16 Hall 2 which is housed the Thailand Pavilion. The show highlights include Visit New Product Showcase, Food Service, Baking Business, Food 4 Thought, Restaurant and Catering, Hospitality and Leading Nutrition. Some VIP visitors paid a visit to our booth for business discussion.

THAIFEX – World of Food Asia 2014 was successfully and jointly organized by The Thai Chamber of Commerce, Department of International Trade Promotion and Koelnmesse during 21-25 May 2014 in Bangkok. Grand Asia was proudly exhibiting by officially launching selected coconut water in 3 different brands— Aloha, Cocobliss and Thanks which have drawn many potential buyers from USA, the Middle East and Australia.
